At the intersections of language, power, race/ethnicity is where I work.  Through a critical examination of what is said and heard in classrooms between teachers and students, I strive to improve the educational outcomes for students and develop the professional capacity of teachers and schools.  Until a greater understanding of how teachers and students interact is made, schools will continue to underserve impoverished students of color.

Creating original, engaging, content for learners is a skill that I have practiced in school classrooms, professional trainings, and now, digitally.  Increasing learner capacity regardless of the setting is a skill that I have a history of demonstrated success.
